How to use Super Clear topcoat
This kind of gloss varnish is the ideal method by which we will protect our model kits from sunlight and/or scratches while ensuring they remain as glossy as ever. It is also a good choice as a clearcoat to protect our work before moving onto another stage.
Mr. Hobby GX Topcoats
The Mr. Super Clear line is a solvent-based varnish which differentiates it from others such as Mr. Topcoat and Mr. Premium Topcoat. It brings better resistance against scratches but at the same time, it can harm paint that is not solvent-based due to it's aggressive composition. Furthermore, certain decals can also be damaged when applied this varnish.
Their UV Cut denomination comes from their ultraviolet light filtering capabilities which prevents the fading of colours on our paint due to the pigment burning or the yellowing of plastic, phenomena that occurs under sunlight exposure.
