30 Minute Missions

30 Minute Missions is the original mech line within Bandai's 30 Minutes Series platform. It covers military-styled exosuits, armored frames, and support vehicles at 1/144 scale, all built around a shared modular joint standard that makes every part in the catalog cross-compatible. The mech designs are original Bandai creations with no anime source material, which means the whole line exists specifically to be customized.

The core of the line is the EXAMAC kits: the base mech frames that anchor every build. EXAMACs come in three distinct faction aesthetics covering the EAF, BF, and MF forces, each with their own design language in terms of silhouette, armor shape, and color scheme. They share the same joint standard regardless of faction, so mixing parts across different EXAMACs is fully supported and very much the intended way to use them. A base EXAMAC kit builds quickly in a single session and gives you a solid foundation that you can leave stock or start pulling apart to rebuild however you want.

The accessories catalog is where 30 Minute Missions really opens up. 30MM Weapons sets cover everything from rifles and shotguns to heavy artillery and melee options. 30MM Option Parts add armor upgrades, backpack units, and additional limb configurations that change how a frame looks and moves. Extended Armament Vehicles go further still, offering tank treads, aircraft components, and support vehicle parts that can be combined with or attached to a base EXAMAC. Stack enough of these sets and you stop thinking in terms of individual kits and start thinking in terms of a parts pool you draw from.

The line also includes 30MM Armored Core, a crossover with FromSoftware's Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. These kits bring the iconic AC designs from the game into the same modular system, using identical joints and compatible option parts. If you build both EXAMAC and Armored Core kits, the parts talk to each other. It's a genuine crossover, not just a licensed skin on a different platform.

Build difficulty across the whole 30MM line sits at beginner to intermediate. Snap-fit construction means no glue and straightforward assembly, with gate placement that keeps cleanup manageable. Most base kits go together in two hours or less. The snap-fit system does not mean the results look basic: clean builds panel line well, and the part separation on most kits gives you enough color blocking to get a good result straight from the box. For builders who want to push further, custom paint, weathering, and scratch modifications all work well on these frames.
