The idea behind the GH-FFM-10 is simple: take a piece of stainless steel, give it the right dimensions, and you've got a sanding stick that actually stays flat. Foam-core and acrylic boards flex under pressure. This one doesn't. The stainless steel holds its shape through the entire stroke, which is what keeps your sanding consistent and your surfaces flat, not rounded off at the edges.
Each board is 92mm long, 10mm wide, and just 2mm thick. That last dimension matters more than it sounds. At 2mm you can get the board into tight recesses, panel lines, and small surface areas that a wider stick simply won't reach. The edges are slightly chamfered so the board itself doesn't bite into adjacent detail. At 14g per board the weight is enough to feel controlled in hand without causing fatigue.
You attach your own sandpaper or sanding cloth with double-sided tape, which means you choose the grit. Use it with GodHand's own Kami Paper sets or any sanding film that fits the 10mm width. Four boards are included in the set so you can keep multiple grits ready and swap between them without stopping.
