If you've already worked your way through the GodHand Kamiyasu range and want to take your snap build to a genuinely polished finish, the GodHand MIGAKI Kamiyasu Sanding Stick is where that journey ends. This is GodHand's fine polishing line, built on the same highly durable fabric file as the standard Kamiyasu but covering the grits that most sanding sticks don't even attempt: #2000, #4000, #6000, #8000, and #10000. That upper end is pretty rare to find in stick form, and it makes a real difference when you're chasing a proper surface finish.

The MIGAKI is specifically designed for builders who aren't airbrushing, which is really what snap building is all about. When there's no paint to cover the surface, every scratch shows. Working through the MIGAKI range progressively eliminates those scratches layer by layer until the plastic itself takes on a smooth, almost glassy quality that's genuinely satisfying to achieve.

Here's how to think about the progression. #2000 is where you pick up after finishing with the standard Kamiyasu range, removing the finer marks left behind and starting to refine the surface. #4000 takes that further and is where you start to notice the surface really opening up. By #6000 you're into proper polishing territory, the kind of finish that starts to catch light. #8000 and #10000 are the final steps, and working through both is what separates a clean snap build from one that looks genuinely show-worthy. Skipping steps is tempting, but each grit is doing real work, so going through the progression properly is what gets you the result.

Like the standard Kamiyasu, the MIGAKI comes in 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm thicknesses. The 2mm wraps around curved surfaces easily and is great for contouring. The 3mm is your all-rounder for mixed work. The 5mm is the firmest of the three, best for flat surfaces and areas where you want consistent, even pressure across the pass. All three can be cut to a custom shape if you need to work into a specific area.

Wet sanding is an option with the MIGAKI and can help keep the surface clean and the file from clogging, though it's not required. Just avoid soaking the sticks or exposing them to lacquer solvents, as that can break down the adhesive over time. When you're done, a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth or old toothbrush clears out the residue and the file is good to go again.

Each assortment pack comes with one of each grit, color-coded and numbered in water-resistant ink so nothing gets mixed up mid-session.
