The tip is a valve-type hard head, which gives you a fundamentally different level of control compared to a cotton swab or a brush dipped in solvent. You press where you want to erase, and the solvent goes exactly there. No spreading, no blooming into surrounding areas, no collateral damage to panel lines or adjacent color. How to Use

Press the tip lightly onto a scrap surface first to prime the solvent flow. Then apply directly to the area you want to correct: press the tip against the paint and work in small, controlled strokes. The valve-type hard tip releases solvent only where you press, so you can work right up to a color boundary or panel line without spreading the solvent beyond where you need it. For best results, work while the DSPIAE marker paint is still fresh, as the solvent lifts uncured paint more cleanly than fully dried paint. If the paint has already dried, a second application with slightly more pressure usually does the job. Keep the cap on when not in use to prevent evaporation and preserve the tip.
