30MMAC ACs
The 30MMAC ACs category is where you'll find the actual mechs the Armored Cores themselves, built kit by kit using Bandai's 30 Minute Missions snap-fit system. These are the flagship units from Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, translated into plastic with the kind of precision you'd expect from Bandai's kit engineering.
Each kit in this sub-category represents a specific AC from the game boss units, iconic player configurations, and named machines that anyone who cleared the story will recognize immediately. The sculpts are faithful. Proportions match the in-game models. The layered armor construction gives you that same sense of a machine assembled from discrete parts, which is exactly what an AC is supposed to feel like. These are not generic mecha kits with an Armored Core logo slapped on the box. The design work is specific and deliberate.
Build difficulty is solidly beginner-to-intermediate. The snap-fit construction means no glue, no complicated sub-assemblies to juggle, and clean gate placement that keeps nub cleanup manageable. You can get a kit from box to completed in a single build session, typically two to four hours depending on your pace. That said, these kits have enough part separation and color blocking to reward panel lining and a flat coat without ever needing to break out an airbrush. Straight builds look good. Detailed builds look great. The floor is accessible, the ceiling is as high as you want to push it.
The real advantage of building within the 30MM Armored Core system is cross-kit compatibility. The joint standard across 30MMAC is consistent, which means arms, legs, weapons, and backpack units can be swapped between different AC kits. You can recreate your actual in-game loadout or go full custom and build something that never appeared in the game. Both are valid. The modularity is the point. Pair these with the 30MMAC accessories and the weapon pool expands significantly more options for building out custom AC configurations without being limited to what came in any single box.
Scale is 1/100, which puts the finished kits at a display-friendly size. Not so large they dominate a shelf, not so small you lose the detail in the panel work. At that scale a completed Armored Core VI kit looks the part next to other 30MM mechs or as a standalone display piece. Weathering effects, chipping, oil washes all of it reads well at 1/100 and suits the industrial, war-machine aesthetic of the ACVI universe perfectly.
