Gaahleri's Kaleido Colorworks paint line runs on the same RapidAir™ technology as their primer range: water-based acrylic, pre-thinned at the factory, ready to spray without fuss. The big selling point is that it behaves like a lacquer in terms of flow and application speed, without the solvents, the fumes, or the ventilation headache. No beading, no sagging, no uneven coverage. Surface dry in 15 to 20 minutes. Fully cured in 24 hours. Compatible with ABS, PC, PE, resin, metal, glass, fabric, and wood, and certified under EU REACH and CLP standards, so it is legal and safe for indoor use.

The range is split into three series:

Primary Colors are your mixing foundation. 24 high-opacity, high-saturation colors built to be versatile across any genre. If you like to develop your own color schemes or work outside established palettes, this is where you start.

Mecha Colors are precisely matched to the signature colors of popular robot and sci-fi kits, think Gundam, Evangelion, Frame Arms. 24 colors, all with an 85GU gloss finish out of the bottle, which makes panel lining and decal application noticeably cleaner.

Auto Colors are matched to original automotive factory colors, with a focus on high gloss, metallic, and pearl finishes. 24 colors aimed primarily at vehicle builders, but equally useful for any builder chasing that level of finish.

To use, shake well for at least 30 seconds before spraying. The paints are pre-thinned and ready to go straight from the bottle with a 0.3mm airbrush at 10 PSI or above. For 0.2mm setups or lower pressure, add a drop or two of Kaleido thinner. Light, even coats are the way to go: coverage is strong, so one or two passes is usually enough. For metallic colors, pair with the Gaahleri Gloss Black primer for best results.
