Great news first: the DNS transfer went through faster than expected and many of you are already on the new site. Welcome!
Now the less great news.
Precisely because the switch happened faster than we anticipated, some critical functions aren't working yet. And yes, we tested everything extensively on the dev site. And yes, it worked perfectly there. You know how it goes.
What this means in practice: you can browse, explore and look around, but you cannot place orders right now. The payment side of things is down and of course this had to happen on a time when both the PayPal and bank IT departments are closed. Classic.
"Both functions retested and retested with no issues in dev..." Chobo repeated this during the last hour...
We're on it and we're sorry. This is genuinely not how we wanted launch day to go. But tomorrow we'll have the full team available and we'll get the critical functions back up as fast as possible.
