Background
Nightfall is Raven's AC in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the build that takes the player through the final chapters of the game and the one most associated with the story's protagonist across FromSoftware's marketing for the title. It's built on RaD's CC-2000 Orbiter frame with the BC Shade Eye sensor head, a package designed for the kind of flexible, all-range aggression that defines Raven's approach to combat. What makes Nightfall memorable beyond the frame is the loadout: RF-025 SCUDDER pulse rifle on the right arm, the PB-033M Ashmead pile bunker on the left, SONGBIRDS laser cannon and BML-G1/P32DUO-03 missile launcher on the back. It covers close quarters and long range simultaneously, and the pile bunker in particular became one of the most talked-about weapons in the game immediately after launch.
Kit context
This is kit #01 in the 30MM Armored Core series, released in September 2024 alongside Steel Haze as the debut wave of the line. As the face of AC6 and the most immediately recognizable AC in the game, Nightfall is the natural anchor for any 30MMAC collection. It uses the same CC-2000 Orbiter frame as the standard RaD CC-2000 Orbiter kit, but ships in Nightfall's dark colorway with the full weapon loadout and two gimmicks the standard kit doesn't have: the Ashmead injection state reproduction parts, and the alternate assault boost head. The entire frame is fully compatible with any other 30 Minutes Missions kit for part swapping and custom builds.
Kit features
Snap-fit build, no glue or paint required to complete the 30MM model kit. 3mm joints on both shoulders and select left-hand weapon points allow weapons to be swapped freely across any other 30MMAC or standard 30MM build in your collection. The PB-033M Ashmead ships with replacement parts to display it in its extended injection state, letting you replicate the pile bunker mid-strike rather than just at rest. A second head is included so you can switch between the standard HC-2000/BC Shade Eye sensor configuration and the assault boost mode with visor deployed — both heads build separately, so switching is a simple swap rather than a parts exchange. The full weapon complement covers four mount points. Color separation is strong throughout. Build time runs around 2 to 3 hours.
