Handmade in Korea following a rigorous process, SAB Panel Line scribers bring incredible sharpness thanks to their cemented carbide blade, without losing even an ounce of precision thanks to the ergonomic stainless-steel handle they’re all equipped with. And should you want to change it for your comfort or preference, they also come with shinkring tupe to suite your needs.
Furthermore, the SAB scriber blades are also compatible with BMC handles.

While there are no hard rules in terms of scriber size and scaling, here at Mecha Universe recommend the following combinations to those wanting to dip their toes in, using the Gundam plastic model kits as reference for sizes

  • HG – 2 of the group containing [ 0.1mm / 0.15mm / 0.2mm] and 1of the group containing [0.4mm / 0.5mm / 0.6mm]
  • MG - 2 of the group containing [0.15mm / 0.2mm / 0.3mm] and 1of the group containing [0.6mm / 0.7mm]
  • PG - 2 of the group containing [0.2mm / 0.3mm / 0.4mm] and 1of the groups containing [0.7mm / 0.8mm]

Obviouly, this is merely a recommendation for those using a scriber for the first time and looking for general advice. There's plenty of artists that use, for example, 0.1mm combined with 0.3mm on their PG kits in order to create shadows and volume.
Starting with a scriber the size of 0.15mm or 0.2mm is a great option, due to it being a size useful in nearly all model kits. But in the end, it is your model and, Gunpla is Freedom!

Warning
1. They’re cutting tools created with a specific purpose in mind. Using them for other purposes or other materials may cause irreparable damage to either or both the blade and handle.
2. We recommend users to be careful when using these tools due to their sharpness.
3. While extremely sharp and durable when cutting, the cemented carbide used on the blade is brittle when exposed to certain forces, so it is recommended that the scribers are only used the way the manufacturer recommends and avoid any kind of stabbing motion with the
